My grading will be totally different if this is asked one year before. Recently it break down so often that it eat my heart out.
pk: No doubt that Streamyx services is getting worse day after day. And now they are coming out with 4MB connection for RM268.
Wonder how the service will be especially on the connection speed.
Broadband-not worth the money you paid.Maybe 2 years later,i will give a diffrent view..
Recently, streamyx getting worse by breaking down so often... I feel discomfort once there's disconnection while downloading files, transfering files and photos and even MSN chatting...
Upgrading service? 4MB for RM268? Don't ever think about it... Even Shanghai, China have better connection than us...
i can say that it's better than the dail up services years before. however, Stremyx services is getting worse especially when it comes to peak hours. besides, the customer services is not up to satisfactory state.
The connection is very bad during the peak hour...
nowaday i think that streamyx is not worth at all, even it promote 4Mbps but the modem is unable to support that high, it sound good but think properly it is same only... downloading is the key service that almost everyone is using, but others broadband(maxis, celcom and etc.) has limited this download.. it is only suitable for business use and not for entertain used.. Msia is getting outdated and the standard is getting far compare to other countries:)

if anybody used wimax please posted here, so i can consider whether it is good or not^^... broadband is era is passed, TNB is gonna to take over by "some corp".. lol
streamyx broadband is not match with this terms, i suggest tmnet should call this services as streamyx narrowband
others country are officially launched more than 4MB as compare to malaysia. example, singapore, united state, united kingdom and so on.
if compare with other countries services(Taiwan,Japan...),M'sia broandband services just like....... grandmother participate running competition....

i think broadband should change its name, call Narrowband
malaysia broadband services really need improvement.
Streamyx services need improvement! I'm frustrated with the frequent disconnection even i'm using the 4MB connection currently. It does not have significant different with lower MB connection. It's not worth!
Singtel and Starhub are competing so fiercely in Singapore, $99.9 for 100mbps.. what is 4mpbs to them?rm268 sumore!?haha.. still now Malaysian are still charged for using DIAL-UP services.. which is totally free in SG..

most of the time. always out of service. no doubt that broadband services is now getting worst.

SLOW Slow slow... Everything's so slow
the line become very bad especially for those who share wireless. once someone is downloding video, others will not able to use to watch movie online.
besides, it always break down.
streamyx is getting worse...i give up using it long time ago...tried maxis broadband...but its speed make me frustrated...using celcom broadband currently...it is still ok...but its connection can be totally down sometimes...
The streamyx company said giving you 100mbps, but actually is less than 100, and always got the DS problem, very very slow, really make angry sometimes

after u came back from singapore, u will felt that malaysia broadband is ...erm...speechless..
vy slow...especially during the raining day.
streamyx need to improve......they need improve the port service and the customer service.
the most important problem is the line not stable and very slow.i suggest they have to improbve the port performance first.
so slow...the service is not worth money that we are paying...
there are away disconnect during online...the line are not stable
need to improve for the line stable and Broadband services need to increase the speed for customer...
poor service from tm staffs..dang i hate streamyx
