It was reported that the volume of the junk mails with the Olympics theme increase tremendously prior to the opening ceremony with the intention to trick people into visiting those fake sites or opening some harmful attachments. Read more here.

Hi-Tech criminals target Twitter

A fake twitter profile with a malicious payload has been spotted which link to a pornographic video. However, it actually downloads a fake version of Adobe Flash which in turn will install a programme that is capable of stealing data. It is believe to be the first of this kind of attack on Twitter.
