Dell computers to be available in PC superstores in Europe

After the move to sell the laptops and computers off line at the famous BestBuy's and WalMart's stores, Dell is embarking on another initiatives to sell its computers in the major PC superstores across Europe.

Dell has inked an agreement with DSG International (formerly known as Dixons Store Groups), a company that operates Dixons, Currys and PC World stores across Europe, to sell its computers starting from January 2008.

Besides, Dell's computers will also be available at DSGi's subsidiaries such as Electro World (Czech, Hungary & Poland) and PC City (Computer superstores operate in Spain, France, Italy and Sweden)

Such agreements will help to strengthen Dell's selling power throughout Europe. This is one of the push strategy used by Dell to rectify its decline market share in the PC market after being taken over by Acer as the 2nd in the worldwide notebook market.
